X is a former child soldier who faced different level of atrocities including rape in her country of origin. When she first came to our attention, she was confused with low self-esteem. She has been using our service for many months and now goes to college to learn English in order to study Public Health. ARC has contributed a lot in the re-builfing of her life. She can now smile and have a sense of her own identity. Many of them are out there in need of our services but we are sometimes limited as we do not have enough resources to provide an adequste servcies to all of them.
